Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

FreightFlow is operated by Bryan Carlile, doing business as Primesource Experts ("Primesource Experts," "we," "us," or "our"). Primesource Experts, LLC is in the process of formation as a Wyoming limited liability company; until that formation is complete, Bryan Carlile personally operates FreightFlow as a sole proprietor. This policy will be updated to reflect the LLC as the operating entity once formation is finalized.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what's needed to operate the platform:

• Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password. Your password is never stored in plain text — it's hashed using bcrypt before it touches our database, and we cannot see or recover your original password.
• Listing and transaction data. If you post a surplus listing or an auction lot, we collect what you submit — title, category, quantity, price, location, and description. If you place a bid or complete a purchase, we record that transaction.
• Payment information. Payments are processed entirely by Stripe, Inc. We never receive, see, or store your card number, expiration date, or CVC. Stripe shares with us only what's needed to confirm and fulfill a transaction (for example, that a payment succeeded and its amount).
• Session data. We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in between requests. It contains no personal information itself — just a reference to your server-side session.

We do not use advertising trackers, analytics pixels, or third-party tracking scripts of any kind. There is nothing on this site monitoring your browsing behavior beyond what's needed to keep you logged in.

3. How we use your information

• To create and maintain your account, and to authenticate you when you log in
• To process listings, bids, and purchases you make on the platform
• To communicate with you about your account, transactions, or password resets
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms of Service
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. Who we share information with

We share information only with the service providers necessary to operate the platform:

• Stripe, Inc. — processes all payments. See Stripe's privacy policy.
• Render — hosts our application server and database.
• IONOS — hosts the FreightFlow web pages.

If you use FreightFlow's Sales feature, business contact and company data you enter (not personal consumer data) may be cross-referenced with publicly available marketplace seller information from eBay, Amazon, and Walmart to support your own sales research — this data is used only to serve that feature back to you, not shared onward.

We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Primesource Experts, our users, or the public.

5. Data retention

We retain account and transaction data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal, accounting, and tax obligations. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us (see Section 9) — we'll fulfill that request except where we're required to retain records by law (for example, completed transaction records).

6. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including password hashing (bcrypt), encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) across the site, and secure session cookies. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security — but we don't cut corners on the basics, and we'll notify affected users if we become aware of a breach involving their data.

7. Your choices

You can review and update your account information at any time by logging in. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing us. If you're located somewhere with specific statutory privacy rights (such as the EU/UK's GDPR or California's CCPA), we'll honor requests consistent with those rights to the extent they apply to our processing.

8. Children's privacy

FreightFlow is a business-to-business logistics platform and is not directed at, or intended for use by, anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
