Help & FAQ

Getting started
What is FreightFlow? expand_more
FreightFlow is a logistics and inventory-recovery software platform. It brings together airport and seaport freight capacity data, manufacturer surplus inventory you can buy directly, and freight auctions for excess cargo capacity. FreightFlow itself is software, not a freight broker — see below for how brokering works.
What does the "Live" vs. "Mock Data" badge mean? expand_more
Some sections of FreightFlow are still being connected to real data sources. A green "Live" badge means the numbers you're looking at are real and current. A gray "Mock Data" badge means that section is showing placeholder or illustrative data while the real integration is still being built — we label it clearly rather than let it look real when it isn't.
Do I need an account to use FreightFlow? expand_more
You can browse listings and hub capacity data without an account. To bid on an auction lot, post a surplus listing, or buy a listing, you'll need to sign up first — this lets us tie the transaction to a real account rather than an anonymous request.
Is there a FreightFlow mobile app? expand_more
A native mobile version of FreightFlow is in development, built as an entry into Emergent's mobile app contest. It connects to the same live FreightFlow data and accounts you use here. There's no release date yet — check back or watch this page for an update.
Buying & bidding
How does "Buy Now" work on Manufacturer Surplus? expand_more
Each surplus listing shows a per-unit price and quantity. Clicking Buy Now takes you through a secure Stripe checkout for the full listed total. Once payment is confirmed, the listing is marked sold and won't be sold again.
How does bidding on Freight Auctions work? expand_more
Each auction lot shows the current bid and a countdown timer. Placing a bid requires beating the current bid — the highest bid when the timer reaches zero wins the lot. You can pause a lot's countdown display at any time using the pause control next to the timer; this only pauses what you see, not the actual auction clock.
Is my payment information safe? expand_more
Yes. All payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number, expiration date, or CVC — that information goes directly to Stripe, not through our servers. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Can I get a refund? expand_more
Sales are generally final. If something's genuinely wrong with a purchase — the listing was misrepresented, or there's a processing error — email us and we'll work it out case by case. See our Terms of Service for the full policy.
Selling & listing
How do I post a surplus listing? expand_more
Log in, then use "Post Surplus Listing" in the navigation. You'll need a title, category, quantity, price, location, and a short description. You're responsible for the accuracy of what you post and for having the legal right to sell it.
How do I list a lot for auction? expand_more
From the Freight Auctions page, use "List New Lot." Set your starting bid, weight, origin, and destination. Once listed, other users can bid on it — the current highest bid at close wins.
Is FreightFlow itself a freight broker, carrier, or forwarder? expand_more
No. FreightFlow is a software platform — Primesource Experts doesn't hold freight broker authority, arrange transportation, take possession of freight, or earn commission on freight transactions. Where brokering is needed, it's handled by an independent, separately licensed freight broker under their own FMCSA authority, not by Primesource Experts. See Section 6 of our Terms of Service.
Account & access
What does "Go Premium" get me? expand_more
Premium plans add priority bidding on auctions, unlimited warehouse listings, and advanced heatmap analytics. See the Go Premium page in the app for current pricing and plan details.
I forgot my password. What do I do? expand_more
Use "Forgot password?" on the login screen and enter your account email. If an account exists for that email, you'll receive a reset link.
How do I delete my account or my data? expand_more
Email bryan.carlile@primesourceexperts.com and we'll process the request. See Section 5 of our Privacy Policy for what we're able to delete versus what we're required to retain (like completed transaction records).
What is the Sales feature? expand_more
Sales is a companion tool for tracking companies and contacts across retail channels like eBay, Amazon, and Walmart, including cached top-seller intelligence by industry. It's available from the sidebar/navigation to FreightFlow accounts with an active subscription.
